Job summary

Bounteous is seeking a CDP Engineer specializing in Adobe Real-Time CDP and Adobe Experience Platform to support data ingestion, identity resolution, and profile creation for client engagements. You will configure data flows, map datasets to XDM schemas, and ensure high-quality profile-enabled datasets are ready for segmentation and activation across channels.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5+ years of data engineering, MarTech engineering, or CDP operations.
• 2+ years of hands-on Adobe RTCDP experience, including ingestion, transformation, identity resolution, and activation.
• Strong knowledge of core Adobe services (Adobe Source Connectors, Streaming & Batch Ingestion, Data Prep and Query Service).
• Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with ETL/ELT processing, data pipelines, and cloud data platforms.
• Programming experience in Python, JavaScript, or SQL; familiar with AWS, GCP, Azure.

Responsibilities

• Refine, implement, configure, and maintain XDM schemas, datasets, and dataset mappings within Adobe AEP and RTCDP.
• Implement and transform data using ingestion pipelines (batch, streaming, SDK, API) with privacy and architectural standards.
• Collaborate with Solution Architect on data transformations, prep rules, and identity stitching logic.
• Enable datasets for Profile, ensuring data quality, completeness, and consistency.
• Build and maintain identity resolution frameworks, namespaces, linkages, and profile merging.
• Assist with segmentation readiness by validating attributes, events, audiences, and identity availability.
• Configure destination connectors and support activation flows across marketing and analytics ecosystems.
• Develop and execute data validation processes including anomaly detection and schema validation.
