Job summary

Bounteous is seeking a Lead Adobe RTCDP Architect to design, implement, and maintain scalable, privacy-conscious CDP solutions within large enterprise environments. The role requires RTCDP mastery and hands-on AEP administration, XDM schemas, and identity design.

You will define data structures, governance standards, and activation patterns, partner with data engineering and privacy teams, and guide deployment through QA and production.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in marketing technology, MarTech architecture, or data engineering.
• Multiple full end-to-end Adobe RTCDP implementations completed.
• 3+ years hands-on Adobe RTCDP and AEP experience including XDM design and profile enablement.
• Experience with APIs, streaming ingestion, and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Knowledge of federated data architectures, including FAC.
• Understanding of Identity Service, stitching, and privacy challenges.
• Experience with Adobe Tags (Launch), Analytics, CJA, Journey Optimizer; cloud platforms and warehouses.
• Programming in Python, SQL, or JavaScript.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary platform expert for Adobe RTCDP architecture, governance, and best practices.
• Architect data models, schemas, datasets, and mappings for enterprise AEP and CDP requirements.
• Design and document identity strategies including namespaces, stitching rules, and profile merging.
• Manage user roles and permissions in AEP to ensure proper access controls.
• Oversee system health and guide engineers through maintenance to ensure policy compliance.
• Plan and oversee data ingestion pipelines (batch, streaming, SDK, API) with privacy controls.
• Define activation patterns across AEP destinations and downstream systems.
• Create solution architecture documentation with dataflow diagrams and identity maps.
• Advise clients on privacy, consent, identity management, and governance frameworks.
