Five Star Nursing is currently staffing Respiratory Therapists for our Rehab Department. We provide RT services in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting, with a focus on patient education and multidisciplinary collaboration.

The role involves assessments, treatments, and implementing the Plan of Care, along with emergency airway management when required. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Current NY RT license and registration is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• EMR system competence is required.
• State-required medical documentation for SNF work is required.
• Proof of identity and work authorization is required.
• Malpractice/liability insurance is optional where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluations to assist physicians in creating or updating patient plans.
• Independently carry out planned respiratory care, including therapies and medications as ordered.
• Provide emergency airway management when necessary.

Respiratory Therapist (RT) in Skilled Nursing Facility

Now Staffing Respiratory Therapists for Rehab Department

Flagstar Rehab RTs work with a diverse and multi-disciplinary team to perform assessments, treatments, and patient/family education to maintain and/or improve respiratory function in patients.

Hourly Pay Rate: $60

Respiratory Therapist Job Duties:

• Provide efficient evaluations to assist physician in creating or updating patient’s Plan of Care.
• Independently carry out individualized Plan of Care by performing quality therapy services, including administering medication, as ordered by physician.
• Provide emergency airway management when necessary.
