Job summary

Vibra Healthcare, LLC. is looking for a Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Mandan, ND. This full-time night shift position offers a $20,000 sign-on bonus and access to a new Clinical Career Ladder for full-time employees. You will deliver quality patient care in a specialized critical care environment.

Candidates must have a Respiratory Therapy degree, a valid license, and BLS/ACLS certifications. Benefits include medical coverage, life insurance, 401k matching, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Respiratory Therapy program.
• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist in the state of employment.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor.
• ACLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required within six (6) months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient, quality-oriented patient care.
• Perform support activities such as equipment maintenance and inventory.
• Set up and operate various types of respiratory care equipment.

Hospital Details

Vibra Hospital of Central Dakotas, located in Mandan, ND, is a 41-bed critical care hospital providing long-term acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Patients often require additional critical care services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation, and ventilator weaning. As a smaller specialized hospital, we offer an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly environment where you get to know patients and their families.

Responsibilities

Responsible for providing efficient, quality-oriented patient care within the scope of the department's policy/procedure manual. Performs support activities such as equipment maintenance, changes, inventory, and sets up and operates various types of respiratory care equipment to be utilized in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease and/or illness.

Required Skills

• Graduate of a Respiratory Therapy program.
• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist in the state of employment.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor.
• ACLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required within six (6) months of hire.

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• One year critical care and/or artificial airway and ventilator care experience preferred. Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
