Job summary

MISTRAS Group, Inc. is seeking a Level II Radiographic Testing (RT) Technician to support long-term industrial inspection projects in Richmond, VA. The role requires ASNT Level II RT certification and a valid driver's license, with opportunities for sign-on bonuses and relocation support.

You will set up, operate radiographic equipment, interpret images, prepare reports, and ensure safety compliance. This is a full-time position with competitive hourly pay in the $35–$40 range and benefits.

Qualifications

• ASNT Level II RT certification is required.
• State or Industrial Radiographer card where applicable.
• Radiation safety training (40-hour) preferred.
• Experience with digital radiography (DR/CR) is a plus.
• Additional certifications such as MT, PT, UT, VT, or PMI are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform Level II RT inspections per procedures and industry codes.
• Set up, calibrate, and operate radiographic equipment safely.
• Interpret radiographic images and evaluate inspection results.
• Prepare accurate inspection reports and maintain documentation.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety requirements and company policies.
• Perform equipment checks, maintenance, and calibration.
• Collaborate with customers, project managers, and other technicians.
• Mentor Level I technicians and trainees as needed.
