Acuren is seeking Level II RT Technicians for our Corpus Christi, TX operation. Local candidates are preferred; relocation not required for nearby residents.

This full-time role focuses on establishing inspection techniques and interpreting nondestructive tests to ensure quality and safety standards are met. Responsibilities include setting up NDT equipment, performing inspections, reporting results, and possibly guiding others.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• Certified Level II in NDT is required or within reach.
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to perform NDT tasks and interpret results.
• Knowledge of NDT equipment and report writing skills.
• Based in or near Corpus Christi, TX within ~30 miles.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
• Conduct tests to detect defects using NDT methods.
• Establish procedures for examination and safety compliance.
• Apply testing criteria per specs and evaluate results.
• Interpret radiographs, CRT or digital readouts, and meters.
• Organize and report test results; perform inspections.
• May instruct and supervise others; handle additional tasks.

Acuren is currently recruiting for Level II RT Technicians to support our operation in Corpus Christi, TX | South, TX.

LOCATION REQUIREMENTS

We are currently seeking local candidates based in Corpus Christi, TX | South, TX. While we welcome applications from all qualified candidates, local availability is preferred due to the nature of this role.

Relocation assistance

Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates. Please note that these are full-time positions; therefore, per diem, travel pay, and mileage reimbursement are not provided.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment
• Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection
• Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations
• Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results
• Interpret radiographs, cathode ray tube (CRT) or digital readouts, conductivity meters and visual indicators
• Organize and report test results
• Perform specialized inspections
• May instruct and supervise others
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Some college preferred
• Certified Level II
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures
• Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections
• Knowledge of NDT equipment
• Experience in report writing
• Based in or near Corpus Christi, TX (within approximately a 30-mile radius)
• 40 Hour Radiation Safety Training preferred
• Industrial Radiographer State Card (Trainee status prefered )
• Valid TWIC card or be able to obtain.
• If not local to the area must be open to relocating for full time position
