Job summary

Acuren Inspection, Inc. in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking certified Level II RT Technicians to join our NDT team. This full-time role local to Corpus Christi, with relocation assistance for qualified candidates.

You will set up and calibrate NDT equipment, interpret radiographs, report results, and assist in inspections while upholding safety standards. A strong background in RT/NDT methods and report writing is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• Certified Level II in RT/NDT.
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures.
• Experience interpreting inspection results and writing reports.
• Based in or near Corpus Christi, TX; 30-mile radius preferred; TWIC card/ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
• Conduct tests to detect discontinuities using NDT methods.
• Establish examination techniques while following safety regulations.
• Apply testing criteria per specifications and evaluate results.
• Interpret radiographs, CRT readouts, conductivity meters and visual indicators.
• Organize and report test results.
• Perform specialized inspections.
• May instruct and supervise others.
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management.

Position Summary

Acuren is currently recruiting for Level II RT Technicians to support our operation in Corpus Christi, TX | South, TX.

LOCATION REQUIREMENTS: We are currently seeking local candidates based in Corpus Christi, TX | South, TX. While we welcome applications from all qualified candidates, local availability is preferred due to the nature of this role.

Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates. Please note that these are full-time positions; therefore, per diem, travel pay, and mileage reimbursement are not provided.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment
• Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection
• Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations
• Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results
• Interpret radiographs, cathode ray tube (CRT) or digital readouts, conductivity meters and visual indicators
• Organize and report test results
• Perform specialized inspections
• May instruct and supervise others
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Some college preferred
• Certified Level II
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures
• Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections
• Knowledge of NDT equipment
• Experience in report writing
• Based in or near Corpus Christi, TX (within approximately a 30-mile radius)
• 40 Hour Radiation Safety Training preferred
• Industrial Radiographer State Card (Trainee status preferred)
• Valid TWIC card or be able to obtain.
• If not local to the area must be open to relocating for full time position
