Job summary

Gurnick Academy Of Medical Arts is seeking an experienced Radiographic Imaging Clinical Coordinator for our Sacramento, CA campus. The role involves managing clinical rotations, coordinating with partner sites, and teaching didactic and lab components for the AS in Radiologic Technology.

The ideal candidate holds an accredited radiology degree, ARRT licensure, and at least 2 years of radiography experience, plus teaching exposure in a JRCERT-accredited program.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiology program.
• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Minimum 2 years of direct full-time occupational experience in diagnostic radiography.
• Current ARRT licensure in radiography or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of teaching experience in a JRCERT-accredited program.
• Proficiency in Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day clinical rotations at affiliated sites and communicate with sites, program director and outreach.
• Teach didactic and lab components of the program.
• Assist in clinical site acquisition and ongoing maintenance.
• Oversee student progress, attendance, remediation documentation, and disciplinary actions.

This is done through management and oversight of students currently or preparing for the clinical rotations, constant communication with clinical sites, the program director, and the outreach department. The Clinical Coordinator is also involved in teaching the didactic and lab components of the program. Clinical site acquisition assistance/participation and maintenance is also a key responsibility for this role.
