Job summary

Acuren in Rincon, GA is seeking RT Assistants to support NDT operations. This is a local callout/travel position with responsibilities to calibrate and conduct nondestructive tests, record results, and assist radiographers.

The role requires a 40-hour Radiation Safety Class and a clean driving record, with background checks per client demands. Candidates should have a High School diploma (Some college preferred) and a technical background.

Qualifications

• Must have 40 Hour Radiation Safety Class.
• Must be able to pass drug/alcohol and background screens per client requirements.
• Motor vehicle driving record must meet company standards to drive company vehicles.
• Background checks will be thorough and may determine eligibility.

Position Summary

Acuren is seeking RT Assistants to support operations in Rincon, GA. (THIS WILL BE A LOCAL CALLOUT/TRAVEL POSITION)

RT Assistants will assist in performing calibrations, Nondestructive Tests, and evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations according to written instructions and record results.

Responsibilities

• Set up and utilize Nondestructive Test equipment
• Assist Radiographers in the calibration of NDT equipment
• Assist Radiographers to conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection
• Record results of inspections
• Assist performing NDT procedures, carrying equipment and other operations
• Perform other job related tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

• 40 Hour Radiation Safety Class
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Some college preferred
• Technical background desired
• Must be able to have experience, credentials and history to be certified as Trustworthy & Reliable to comply with federal and state regulations, as determined by a thorough background check
• Motor Vehicle Driving record must meet company standards to drive company vehicles
• MUST BE ABLE TO PASS DRUG/ALCOHOL AND BACKGROUND SCREENS PER CLIENT REQUIREMENTS.
