Job summary

Acuren is seeking Entry Level NDT Assistants to support operations in Rincon, GA. This is a local role with some travel, focusing on assisting in calibrations, nondestructive tests, and evaluations in accordance with written instructions and recording results.

NDT Assistants will help set up equipment, support Radiographers in calibration, and carry out tests to detect discontinuities using NDT methods while maintaining inspection records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Some college experience is preferred.
• Technical background is desired for NDT work.
• Must pass background checks and drug/alcohol screens per client requirements.
• Driver record must meet company standards for vehicle use.

Responsibilities

• Set up and utilize Nondestructive Test equipment.
• Assist Radiographers in calibrating NDT equipment.
• Assist Radiographers to conduct tests to detect defects using NDT methods.
• Record results of inspections.
• Assist performing NDT procedures and transport equipment as needed.
• Perform other tasks assigned by management.

Acuren is seeking Entry Level NDT Assistants to support opertions in Rincon, GA. (THIS WILL BE A LOCAL CALLOUT AND SOME TRAVEL POSITION)

NDT Assistants will assist in performing calibrations, Nondestructive Tests, and evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations according to written instructions and record results.

Responsibilities

• Set up and utilize Nondestructive Test equipment
• Assist Radiographers in the calibration of NDT equipment
• Assist Radiographers to conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection
• Record results of inspections
• Assist performing NDT procedures, carrying equipment and other operations
• Perform other job related tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Some college preferred
• Technical background desired
• Must be able to have experience, credentials and history to be certified as Trustworthy & Reliable to comply with federal and state regulations, as determined by a thorough background check
• Motor Vehicle Driving record must meet company standards to drive company vehicles
• MUST BE ABLE TO PASS DRUG/ALCOHOL AND BACKGROUND SCREENS PER CLIENT REQUIREMENTS.
