Job summary

Acuren is seeking RT Assistants to support operations in Rincon, GA. This local callout/travel position requires assisting in calibrations, nondestructive tests, and evaluations per written instructions, with record results.

You will set up NDT equipment, support radiographers, and help carry out tests to detect defects while ensuring regulatory compliance and safety standards are met. Acuren offers competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Position Summary

Acuren is seeking RT Assistants to support operations in Rincon, GA. (THIS WILL BE A LOCAL CALLOUT/TRAVEL POSITION)

RT Assistants will assist in performing calibrations, Nondestructive Tests, and evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations according to written instructions and record results.

Responsibilities

• Set up and utilize Nondestructive Test equipment
• Assist Radiographers in the calibration of NDT equipment
• Assist Radiographers to conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection
• Record results of inspections
• Assist performing NDT procedures, carrying equipment and other operations
• Perform other job related tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

• 40 Hour Radiation Safety Class
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Some college preferred
• Technical background desired
• Must be able to have experience, credentials and history to be certified as Trustworthy & Reliable to comply with federal and state regulations, as determined by a thorough background check
• Motor Vehicle Driving record must meet company standards to drive company vehicles
• MUST BE ABLE TO PASS DRUG/ALCOHOL AND BACKGROUND SCREENS PER CLIENT REQUIREMENTS.
