Job summary

Banner Estrella Medical Center, part of Banner Health, seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist - Vascular Access Specialist for the night shift. You will independently provide peripheral and central venous access with ultrasound guidance for a high-acuity patient population.

The role involves PICC/CVC insertions, line maintenance and interdisciplinary collaboration. Minimum qualifications include NBRC-registered RRT, state license, BLS/ACLS, and 4 years of critical care experience with at least

Qualifications

• Must hold NBRC-registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• 4 years of clinical experience as an RRT, with at least 1 year performing PICC/CVC insertions.
• State license to practice respiratory care.
• CPUI/VA-BC certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide peripheral and central venous access independently.
• Insert and maintain PICC lines and central lines with ultrasound guidance.
• Perform dressing changes and line reviews with proper sterile technique.
• Monitor patients and document care accurately and timely.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team and ensure quality goals.
