Job summary

HonorHealth in Mesa, AZ is seeking a skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner to independently manage arterial lines, midlines, PICCs, and central venous catheters, while supporting hemodynamic monitoring and related procedures.

The role requires familiarity with ultrasound-guided insertions, lab review, and collaboration with physicians. ACLS/BLS and AZ RCP/RRT credentials are essential, with potential leadership duties in quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health care related field preferred.
• CoARC-approved Respiratory Care program is required.
• Minimum 2 years Respiratory Care experience required.
• 5 years respiratory care experience with arterial line/IV/PICC/central line preferred.
• Licenses and Certifications: RCP, RRT, AZ license required; ACLS and BLS required; NBRC Specialist or Vascular Access preferred.

Responsibilities

• Insert and maintain arterial lines, midlines, PICC lines or other vascular access devices.
• Review labs and patient history to determine appropriate access procedures.
• Perform or assist with intubations and airway management.
• Dispense pharmacological solutions and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Provide Respiratory Care services and support training and policy development.
