Job summary

Banner Estrella Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ is hiring a Registered Respiratory Therapist Vascular Access Specialist for the night shift (6:00 PM–6:30 AM), full-time with rotating weekends and holidays. You will provide peripheral and central venous access and support high-acuity patient care in a busy respiratory service.

The role requires NBRC RRT, an associate/technical degree, BLS and ACLS, plus at least 4 years’ RRT experience with PICC/CVC insertions; CPUI/VA-BC are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate or technical degree; NBRC RRT certification.
• 4 years of RRT clinical experience with at least 1 year PICC/CVC insertion.
• Current state license; BLS and ACLS required.
• CPUI/VA-BC certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide peripheral and central venous access and assess patient needs.
• Insert and maintain PICC lines; use ultrasound for accurate placement.
• Insert and maintain all central lines; document results accurately.
• Participate in quality initiatives and safety standards.
