Job summary

Medical City Plano is hiring a Registered Respiratory Therapist to guide patients through routine and critical care. You will perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, manage ventilation, and work with a collaborative team in a fast-paced hospital setting.

You will have access to advanced respiratory technology, mentorship from RT leaders, and a focus on ongoing professional growth, with consistent, predictable scheduling to support work-life stability.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of start date.
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• PALS must be obtained within 6 months of start date.
• RRT/RCP-State credential required.
• NBRC-RRT credential or equivalent education accepted.

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status and determine need for interventions.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy including oxygen, aerosols, and airway clearance.
• Manage ventilation and airway procedures, invasive and noninvasive.
• Educate patients and families; act as clinical resource for staff.
• Maintain equipment; ensure safety, readiness, and infection prevention.
