Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care across care settings, including emergency and ICU. You will work with a collaborative team to deliver evidence-based therapies, manage ventilation, and support patient families.

The role emphasizes safety, equipment maintenance, and ongoing professional growth with access to advanced respiratory technology and mentorship.

Qualifications

• RRT/Practitioner credential (State) required.
• NBRC-RRT or PFT certification required.
• BLS certification required; instructor certification must be obtained within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status with focused exams and airway assessment.
• Deliver oxygen therapy, aerosolized meds, airway clearance techniques and other treatments.
• Manage ventilation and artificial airways in emergency, critical care and acute settings.
• Educate patients and families; act as clinical resource and collaborate with physicians/nurses.
• Maintain equipment and safety; ensure sanitation, readiness and infection-prevention standards.
