Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care across care settings. You’ll manage ventilation, deliver oxygen and aerosolized medications, and support patients and families with education and clinical collaboration.

This role offers mentorship from RT leaders, access to advanced equipment, and predictable scheduling. Eligible candidates will hold RRT certification, state licensure, NBRC credentials, and BCLS with within 30

Qualifications

• RRT/Practitioner licensed by state.
• NBRC-RRT certification required.
• BCLS certification required within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status and determine need for interventions.
• Deliver oxygen therapy and aerosolized medications; provide airway clearance techniques.
• Manage ventilation and airway support, including invasive and noninvasive ventilation.
• Educate patients and families; collaborate with physicians and nurses; assist with newborn stabilization when needed.
• Maintain and disinfect equipment; ensure readiness and infection-prevention standards.
