Qualifications

• Active Respiratory Therapist license in the state of practice.
• Experience in acute care settings preferred.
• Experience with invasive and noninvasive ventilation equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status and determine need for interventions.
• Provide evidence-based therapies including oxygen, aerosols, and airway clearance.
• Manage ventilation and airway devices, adjust settings, monitor responses.
• Educate patients and families, collaborate with care team, support newborns when needed.
• Maintain, disinfect and troubleshoot respiratory equipment; ensure safety standards.
