Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to guide patients through routine and critical care, perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and manage invasive/noninvasive ventilation across emergency, critical care, and acute settings.

You will work with advanced respiratory technology, receive mentorship, and join a collaborative team committed to ongoing professional growth and patient health every day.

Qualifications

• RRT/RCP-State licensure or eligibility.
• NBRC-RRT or PFT credential.
• BCLS certification required within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assessing respiratory status by performing focused exams and interpreting breath sounds.
• Delivering evidence-based therapy with oxygen support, aerosolized meds, and airway clearance techniques in multiple settings.
• Managing ventilation and airway care including invasive/noninvasive ventilation and monitoring responses.
• Educating patients and families, supporting the care team, and collaborating with physicians and nurses.
• Maintaining equipment and ensuring infection-prevention standards and readiness.

NBRC-RRT or PFT credential

BCLS certification (within 30 days)
