Mercy in Illinois is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to deliver direct patient care across respiratory services in accordance with physician orders. You will consult physicians on therapy effectiveness and serve as an advanced resource for the care team.

The role offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus, paid in four installments, and a 36-hour weekly schedule. Licensure as an RCP and NBRC RRT credential are required, with ACLS preferred.

Competenze

• Graduate of a CoARC approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from NBRC; PALS for ER if applicable.
• ACLS preferred; able to handle physical demands as described.

Mansioni

• Performs direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care per physician orders.
• Consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy.
• Acts as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing on respiratory care.
• Performs duties as assigned.
