Job summary

Roane Medical Center, part of Covenant Health, seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist to join the Cardiopulmonary Services team in a full-time night-shift role. You will provide direct patient care, collaborate with physicians, and support quality care initiatives.

This position requires a valid NBRC RRT credential and Tennessee licensure with ABG endorsement. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for experienced candidates.

Qualifications

• Valid RRT credential by NBRC and TN licensure with ABG endorsement.
• Experience necessary to obtain state license.
• Mechanical ventilation skills including CPAP/BiPAP and current ventilation modes.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to patients with respiratory insufficiency.
• Demonstrate competency in arterial blood gases and analysis.
• Maintain documentation, charting and care plans.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and unit committees.
• Assist with orientation/training of new staff and students.
