Job summary

Trinity Health in Silver Spring, MD is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team on a part-time/PRN basis. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care for a diverse patient population and collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure high-quality respiratory care.

The role requires NBRC RRT, Maryland licensure, CPR, ACLS, and NRP if NICU; prior clinical experience preferred. Flexible 12-hour shifts and competitive pay are offered.

Qualifications

• Registry with the National Board of Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• Current Maryland licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• CPR training with recertification every two years.
• ACLS certification.
• NRP certification if working in NICU/Special Care Nursery.
• English communication skills with a team-oriented approach.
• Good visual and hearing abilities with corrected or uncorrected vision/hearing.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care for a specified group of patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure high-quality care.
• Provide care for neonate to geriatric patients as defined in unit scope.
• Involve patient/family and outside agencies as needed in assessment and treatment.
• Support Trinity Health and Holy Cross Hospital's mission.
