Job summary

Holy Cross Health in Silver Spring, MD is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a part-time night shift in the Respiratory Therapy department.

You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care for a diverse patient population, from neonates to geriatrics, collaborating with physicians and staff to ensure high-quality care. This role supports the hospital’s mission and offers a competitive pay range and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Must hold Maryland licensure as Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist with NBRC registry.
• CPR certification with recertification every 2 years.
• ACLS certification is required.
• NRP if working in NICU/Special Care Nursery.
• Ability to communicate in English, in written and spoken form.
• Vision and hearing must be adequate.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care for a defined group of patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure quality of care.
• Provide care for neonate to geriatric patients per unit scope.
• Involve patient family and external agencies in assessment and care planning as needed.
• Support the mission of Holy Cross Health and the Respiratory Therapy department.
