Job summary

Holy Cross Health is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Silver Spring, MD. The role is part-time PRN with a 12-hour day shift.

You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in collaboration with physicians and the health-care team, across neonatal to geriatric patients. The position emphasizes quality of life with flexible schedules and opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist with NBRC registry.
• Maryland state licensure as Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• CPR training with recertification every two years.
• ACLS certification.
• NRP certification if working in NICU/SCCU.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care for a defined group of patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure quality of care.
• Provide respiratory care across neonatal to geriatric patients as per unit scope.
• Consider age-specific growth and development in care planning and involve family or guardians as needed.
• Support Holy Cross Hospital and Trinity Health mission.
