Methodist Dallas Medical Center, part of Methodist Health System, seeks a Full-time Day Registered Respiratory Therapist. The role includes ABG, PFTs, and ventilator support with direct patient care for adults and neonates. A $10K sign-on bonus is offered for this Day role.

The team emphasizes high-quality care in a Magnet-designated environment with extensive neonatal and stroke programs; 595-bed facility with trauma center affiliation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
• NRP and PALS must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• Texas license as Respiratory Care Practitioner in good standing.
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• At least 6 months respiratory care experience.

Responsabilités

• Perform respiratory therapeutics including oxygen, aerosol therapy, and ventilator support.
• Conduct arterial blood gases, PFTs, ECGs and related diagnostic procedures.
• Prepare treatment evaluations with bedside assessment and record review.
• Interpret CXR, ABG, and PFT data; operate and troubleshoot CPB equipment.
• Maintain infection control, safety, and quality assurance practices.
