Job summary

Tenet Massachusetts is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a position in Worcester, Massachusetts, 40 hours per week with days, 8-hour shifts. Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an Accredited Respiratory Therapy program required.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: CRT or RRT, MA licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications; obtain BLS before direct patient care.
• New hires must obtain BLS prior to providing direct care; additional certifications within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Administers and manages all ventilator care and related airway support, monitor setup and changes.
• Performs chest PT, chest percussion/vibration, postural drainage, incentive spirometry, and ambulation as indicated.
• Performs clinical diagnostic and pulmonary function tests; bedside spirometry and other tests.
• Assesses respiratory status and evaluates therapy effectiveness; documents therapy data.
• Maintains patient and departmental records; ensures safe, high-quality patient care.
