Job summary

Tenet Massachusetts is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a Natick, MA position. The role involves nighttime, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, and a staff employment type with a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 based on eligibility.

The RT will initiate and administer respiratory therapies under medical direction, including all ventilator care and pulmonary function testing, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care across all ages.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an Accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in an acute care setting preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: CRT or RRT; Massachusetts licensure required.
• Certifications: BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP; renewals as needed.
• New hires must obtain BLS prior to direct patient care.
• Additional certifications within 1 year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Administers and manages ventilator care and related therapies.
• Performs chest physiotherapy, postural drainage, and incentive exercises.
• Conducts bedside spirometry and pulmonary function tests.
• Assesses respiratory status and documents therapy and outcomes.
• Maintains patient and departmental records accurately.
• Performs other duties as required.
