Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of experience in neurophysiology or sleep disorders medicine is preferred.
• Must have one of the following certifications: RPSGT, RST, or SDS (as applicable by state).
• BLS Basic Life Support preferred and required before patient care.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the patient and reviews clinical data to determine testing modalities.
• Operates polysomnographic equipment to obtain diagnostic recordings.
• Documents technical reports and reviews studies with physicians.
• Monitors test quality and manages resources per policies.
• Coordinates patient scheduling and assists with office tasks.
• Maintains continuing education in neurodiagnostic field.
