Job summary

Mercy Washington in Washington, MO is seeking a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) for the night shift to perform overnight sleep studies, including polysomnography, CPAP/BiPAP titration, split-night protocols, and MSLT, with equipment prepared and calibrated according to AASM standards.

You’ll monitor patients through the night, respond to clinical events, score studies accurately, educate patients on sleep disorders and PAP therapy, and document all care in the EMR, contributing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Polysomnography program.
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT).
• BLS (American Heart Association) within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform overnight sleep studies, including polysomnography, CPAP/BiPAP titration, split-night protocols, and MSLT.
• Prepare and calibrate equipment in accordance with AASM standards.
• Monitor patients throughout the night and respond to clinical events with confidence.
• Accurately score studies and produce detailed reports.
• Educate patients on sleep disorders and PAP therapy.
• Maintain equipment and follow infection control protocols.
• Document all care in the EMR.
