Job summary

Valley Health in Winchester, VA seeks a Board Certified Polysomnographic Technologist to evaluate and treat sleep disorders, including in-center and home sleep apnea testing, PSG studies, CPAP titration, and ambulatory monitoring.

The role requires RPSGT and VA licensure, BLS certification, and board credentials in sleep. Strong knowledge of respiratory and neurodiagnostics, with the ability to train technologists and communicate clearly with patients, is essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge in Respiratory and Neurodiagnostics as it relates to sleep staging.
• Ability to orient and train technologists, and affiliate students required.
• Demonstrated ability to follow verbal instructions required.
• Communicates effectively verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders.
• Perform in-center and home sleep apnea testing and CPAP titration studies.
• Monitor polysomnographic data including AHI, oxygen desaturation, and respiratory events.
• Deliver direct patient education and ensure high quality patient care.
