Job summary

Medical Mutual seeks an experienced RPG Software Developer with RPG IV/RPG Free and IBM iSeries (AS400) experience to support healthcare eligibility, claims, and data integration processes.

This hybridremote role is based out of the Brooklyn, OH office, with on-site days required. You will translate requirements into design, develop and maintain applications, and collaborate with IT and security teams to implement changes and ensure quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, business or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years information systems experience.
• Minimum 2 years analysis and design experience.

Responsibilities

• Translate user requirements into logical, efficient systems designs.
• Develop and maintain applications by writing code per design to meet business rules and security standards.
• Lead project teams on less complex systems or subsystems as needed.
• Oversee testing, implementation, and break-fix tasks across multiple platforms.
• Collaborate with database and security staff to ensure data and security standards are applied.
• Document technical workflows and verify against user requirements.
