Job summary

GreenStone Farm Credit Services invites applications for a Robotic Process Automation Internship in East Lansing, MI. This paid internship offers an hourly rate of $20 and runs from May 2027 to August 2027. Based in our East Lansing office, you will help convert reports, contribute to Data Lakehouse initiatives and support analytics and automation efforts.

You will gain hands-on experience in agricultural finance, mentorship, and opportunities to work on meaningful rural-community projects.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field.
• GPA of 3.00 minimum required.
• Sophomore status or above in your program.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leaders and stakeholders to understand processes and automation opportunities.
• Analyze business problems, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend automation solutions.
• Build automated solutions for repetitive tasks using APIs, UI automation and other frameworks.
• Use Automation Anywhere, Power Automate, scripting languages and Office apps to design, develop and support automation solutions.

GreenStone Farm Credit Services is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Engineering Intern to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience in data engineering with exposure to data science concepts. You’ll work on converting reports for CLS and DNA systems, contribute to Data Lakehouse initiatives, and support automation and analytics efforts.

Requirements:

• Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Agriculture background or interest preferred.
• Sophomore status or above in your academic program.
• A minimum GPA of 3.00 is required.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn.
