Job summary

Arvato is seeking an experienced RPA Architect to guide SAP-integrated process design, develop automation workflows, and deploy end-to-end RPA solutions. You will contribute to governance, QA, and cross-functional collaboration while ensuring scalable automation across teams.

The role requires 5+ years in RPA tools, APIs, and AI/ML concepts, with strong problem-solving and independent work abilities. Expect responsibilities spanning design, deployment, documentation, and on-call support as

Qualifications

5+ years hands-on experience with RPA tools and cognitive platforms such as UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere.
Basic programming knowledge in HTML, JavaScript or scripting languages.
Ability to design technical specification documents for RPA projects.
Experience developing and consuming APIs.
Experience with Agile development methodology.
Experience with Databases (SQL or NoSQL).
Knowledge of artificial intelligence and machine learning.
Understanding of workflow-based logic.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Superior time and project management skills.
Ability to present technical details to non-technical audiences.
Excellent problem solving/analytical skills and complex troubleshooting methods.
Self-motivated, able to work independently, and able to take initiative without always being directed.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and prioritize the most critical tasks and projects.
Experience with SAP (SD, WM, EWM) is preferred.
Experience with Azure Data Factory and Azure Logic Apps.
Experience in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, BPMN, VB Script, Ruby, Java, JS, .Net.
Microsoft PowerAutomate and PowerApps experience.

Responsibilities

Provide guidance with process design for new processes and implementation across teams/clients with connections to overall IT system solutions, especially SAP
Design, develop, and test automation workflows
Deploy RPA components including bots, robots, development tools, code repositories and logging tools
Support the launch and implementation of RPA solutions – as well as daily support where necessary
Create process and end-user documentation and train users when necessary
Assure the quality of the automation (QA processes)
Monitor automation performance and impact of automation to costs and resources
Align with company governance and ISMS guidelines for all solutions and data handling policies
Work with cross-functional resources to define and deliver business impacting projects.
Work directly with stakeholders to capture business requirements and translate them into technical approaches and designs that can be implemented.
Collaborate with development team members to ensure proper implementation and integration of the solutions.
Support deployments or troubleshoot production issues outside of work hours and participate in an on-call rotation as-needed.
Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies and business processes.
Any additional tasks that may be assigned to ensure an efficient, safe, clean, and goal-oriented work environment
