Job summary

Episcopal Academy in Newtown Square is seeking a Manager of Crew Operations to oversee day-to-day logistics of the rowing program. You will manage equipment, transportation, and event support while also providing coaching help to the Upper School crew team.

Reporting to the Head Crew Coach, you will help create a safe, structured environment for student-athletes. Ideal candidates will have experience in rowing or crew operations, strong organization and communication skills, and the ability to

Qualifications

• Experience in rowing, coaching, or crew program operations preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Weekday afternoon availability during the school year.
• Weekend availability during spring crew season.
• Ability to lift rowing equipment and work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Support the operation of the Upper School crew program during the fall, winter, and spring seasons.
• Assist with coaching during practices and competitions.
• Coordinate and supervise weekday transportation between campus and the boathouse.
• Provide weekend transportation for student-athletes during the spring racing season.
• Maintain boats, launches, trailers, oars, ergometers, and other rowing equipment, coordinating repairs as needed.
• Manage equipment inventory, supplies, repairs, replacements, and purchases.
• Ensure equipment is properly stored, maintained, and race-ready throughout the year.
• Provide logistical and operational support for regattas, practices, and other team events.
