Job summary

Gray Hawk Land Solutions is seeking a seasoned Title Supervisor for a major natural gas pipeline project in the Permian Basin. You will lead title research, oversee deeds, easements, and related land records, and coordinate with ROW agents, attorneys, surveyors and project managers on-site.

This full-time, on-site role requires at least 10 years in ROW title, 5+ years supervising title agents, and Texas title experience; travel as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum ten (10) years of right-of-way title experience.
• Minimum five (5) years supervising title agents.
• 5+ years of Texas title experience.
• Leadership experience on FERC-regulated natural gas pipeline projects.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a team of title agents.
• Strong working knowledge of deeds, easements, leases, probate records, liens, judgments, tax records and plats.
• Experience with land-management databases and the ability to learn client databases quickly.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Own mobile phone and a capable laptop.
• Available to start within weeks and on-site in the Permian Basin.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, assign and review the work of title agents and staff.
• Plan and monitor title work to meet project schedules, quality standards and budget.
• Oversee examination of deeds, easements, leases, probate records, liens and more.
• Ensure ownership and property interests are accurately identified and documented.
• Review title commitments and reports for accuracy.
• Identify and coordinate resolution of title defects and complex ownership issues.
• Coordinate with ROW on acquisition packages and closing requirements.
• Maintain title files, databases, maps and document-management systems.
• Develop and improve procedures, templates and reporting for title operations.
• Track workload and costs; provide updates to Project Manager and teams.
• Build relationships with landowners, title companies and agencies.
• Lead field safety: training, sign-offs and daily safety logs.
• Train and mentor title agents; provide performance feedback.
