Job summary

WSP USA seeks an Administrative/Right-of-Way Records Specialist to support ROW and real estate acquisition projects for utility clients. The role emphasizes data integrity, document control, and coordination with project teams across multiple offices.

The position involves preparing legal documents, maintaining project files, and coordinating with ROW agents, field teams, and landowners while ensuring compliance with guidelines and client expectations.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and mail-merge/document formatting.
  • Familiarity with GIS mapping tools is preferred.
  • Experience in ROW/land acquisition projects in utilities is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of land records, recording processes, and banking reconciliations is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Records and document management for ROW projects.
  • Set up and maintain right-of-way project files, landowner records, and acquisition docs.
  • Prepare legal documents (easements, transmittals, letters) using mail merge.
  • Review documents for completeness and notarization before recording.
  • Input and maintain project data; generate status reports for stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with ROW agents and field teams for data support.
  • Provide general administrative support using Microsoft Office tools.
