The City of Irving is seeking a Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Public Infrastructure Permit Manager to oversee permit processing and ensure compliance with city standards.

You will review engineering plans, approve or deny permit requests, and coordinate with developers, contractors, engineers, and various City departments to resolve conflicts in public rights-of-way. Incumbents supervise staff and help develop installation standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.
• Four years of related experience, including two years of supervisory experience.

Responsabilités

• Oversee the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Public Infrastructure Permit process.
• Review engineering plans and permit applications for private development projects.
• Approve or deny permit requests and coordinate with developers, contractors, engineers, and City departments.
• Prepare work plans and supervise staff; respond to inquiries and investigate complaints.
