Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design seeks a highly-motivated Right of Way Agent for the Raleigh and/or Charlotte, NC area, handling easement and land acquisition on multiple projects. You will prepare offers, negotiate with property owners, and coordinate closing packages while meeting tight deadlines.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of Right of Way acquisition experience, NC Real Estate license, Notary, and strong communication skills; MS Office proficiency required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Right of Way Acquisition experience.
• Active Real Estate License for NC is required.
• Notary for NC is required.
• Ability to read and interpret project plans.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide easement and/or land acquisition on assigned projects.
• Have general understanding of notary laws and land rights.
• Prepare offer packages and closing packages.
• Present and negotiate offers to impacted property owners with rapport.
• Lease agreement negotiation experience is a plus.
• NCDOT Right of Way agent experience required.
