Job summary

Emerald Energy and Exploration Land Company is seeking a Right of Way Specialist to support property acquisitions, negotiations, and owner outreach in Texas. You will work under the Right-of-Way Lead, handle survey permissions, and prepare acquisition documents.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of Right of Way experience, a valid driver's license, and a Real Estate License is preferred. Expect 35–40 hours weekly with extensive field interaction.

• Work under the direction of the Right-of-Way Lead or Supervisor.
• Apply analytical, problem-solving and negotiation skills to meet tight deadlines.
• Identify property ownership and determine valuations.
• Obtain permission from property owners for surveys.

• Negotiate acquisition of property rights.
• Settle damage claims.
• Obtain necessary licensing and permits.
• Review progress of projects.
• Serve as construction support liaison.

• Knowledge in all aspects of right of way including acquisition, title, permitting, due diligence, public and community outreach
• Right of Way acquisition experience required
• Negotiations experience preferred
• Real Estate License preferred
• Experience with MS Office Suite, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Employees in this position will be required to maintain a valid driver's license and may be required to drive a licensed vehicle. This status may be necessary for the length of time in this position. Employees in this job title may be required to submit to a drug screening test and background check.

UNIQUE PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Walking over rough and hilly terrain may be required. Work typically involves extensive contact with the public. Work is performed in all types of weather conditions.
