Job summary

Emerald Energy and Exploration Land Company is seeking a Right of Way professional to work on-site in Midland, TX. You will work under the Right-of-Way Lead, negotiating acquisitions, obtaining permissions for surveys, and preparing property-rights documents.

Three years of Right of Way experience and a valid driver’s license are required. Real Estate license is preferred with bilingual skills a plus. Expect 35–40 hours per week and travel up to 75% when needed.

Qualifications

• 3 years of Right of Way experience required
• Knowledge in all aspects of right of way including acquisition, title, permitting, due diligence, public and community outreach
• Driver's license required

Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of the Right-of-Way Lead or Supervisor
• Work under tight deadlines using analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
• Identify property ownership and determine property valuations
• Obtain permission from property owners for surveys
• Prepare documents for acquisition of property rights
• Negotiate acquisition of property rights
• Settle damage claims
• Acquire necessary licensing and permits
• Review progress of projects

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Employees in this position will be required to maintain a valid driver's license and may be required to drive a licensed vehicle. This status may be necessary for the length of time in this position. Employees in this job title may be required to submit to a drug screening test and background check.

UNIQUE PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Walking over rough and hilly terrain may be required. Work typically involves extensive contact with the public. Work is performed in all types of weather conditions.
