Job summary

ERM is seeking Right of Way (ROW) Agents across Multiple Locations in the U.S. to support pipeline and electric transmission projects. ROW Agents will acquire land rights, licenses, leases, permits and other documents necessary for construction, operation and maintenance of facilities.

This is a project-term, field-based role with 100% travel, demanding physical endurance for long hours on varied terrain. Benefits include PTO and a comprehensive package; travel and performance drive

Qualifications

• Diverse and complex negotiations with land owners.
• Settlement of complex damage claims with land owners.
• Search courthouse and records to determine present ownership and extent of interest.
• Establish range of fair market values for land acquisitions.
• Draft and supervise documents for rights of entry, easements, leases, permits, etc.
• Ability to work in remote locations for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate with land owners to acquire land rights and licenses for projects.
• Assist in settling damage claims arising from construction.
• Research ownership and interests using public records.
• Draft documents for rights of entry, easements, leases and permits.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
