Job summary

Atwell, LLC seeks Right of Way Specialists to support electric transmission and utility infrastructure projects across Iowa, with potential long-term Midwest work. Positions range from entry-level acquisition agents to seasoned ROW specialists with transmission and title experience.

You will acquire rights, negotiate with landowners, and coordinate with engineers and project managers while traveling as needed within Iowa.

Qualifications

• Experience in right of way, land acquisition, real estate, title, utility, energy, transportation, or related industries.
• Knowledge of easement acquisition, property rights, and landowner negotiations.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to travel throughout Iowa with a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Acquire easements, rights of way, rights-of-entry, and other land rights for electric transmission projects.
• Meet with landowners and tenants, explain requirements, and negotiate agreements.
• Attend landowner meetings in support of Iowa transmission franchise requirements.
• Maintain relationships with owners, tenants, officials, attorneys, and stakeholders.
• Review title reports, ownership info, and property records as needed.
• Coordinate with project managers, surveyors, engineers, and environmental teams.
• Track acquisition progress and document in Atwell's land management system.
• Prepare status reports and update leadership and clients.
