Job summary

Atwell, LLC is seeking Right of Way Specialists to support electric transmission and utility infrastructure projects across Iowa. This role spans from entry‑level acquisition to senior ROW work, with emphasis on negotiations and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities include meeting landowners, reviewing titles, and coordinating with engineers and project managers. Travel across Iowa is expected; a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in right of way, land acquisition, real estate, title, utility, energy, transportation, or related industries.
• Knowledge of easement acquisition, property rights, and landowner negotiations.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently in a field-based environment.
• Ability to travel throughout Iowa with a valid driver’s license.
• Experience supporting electric transmission, electric distribution, pipeline, renewable energy, or other utility infrastructure projects.
• Working knowledge of title research, ownership verification, and Iowa county property records.
• Experience acquiring easements, rights-of-entry, option agreements, and other land rights.
• IRWA certification or related industry certifications.

• Prepare status reports and communicate project updates to leadership and clients.

Job Description

Atwell is seeking Right of Way Specialists to support electric transmission and utility infrastructure projects throughout Iowa. This opportunity offers the potential for long‑term work supporting utility programs across the Midwest.

We are looking for professionals ranging from emerging acquisition agents to highly experienced ROW specialists with transmission and title experience.

Pay Range : $35 USD - $40 USD
