Job summary

ProSource, a leader in the right of way, acquisition, and relocation industry, seeks a Right of Way Acquisition Agent III for a project in Minnesota. The ideal candidate will reside within commutable distance to MN and work primarily in-state.

The Acquisition Agent will work independently with landowners, businesses, and other stakeholders to secure easements, leases, and rights of way. Strong negotiation and communication skills, research ability, and knowledge of real estate law are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires 3–6 years of experience in land acquisition, title searches, real estate law, or related fields.
• Active Real Estate License required.
• Knowledge of real estate law and property transactions is essential.

Responsibilities

• Works independently to acquire rights in real property full & partial takings, permanent easements, and long-term leases.
• Identify potential sites and establish contact with landowners.
• Study, evaluate, and explain project plans and profile drawings and property plats.
• Prepare requests for title abstracts to determine the parties of interest.
• Request, review, and evaluate property appraisals or comparable sales reports.
• Negotiate property leases and purchases with property owners
• Analyze governing body zoning and building codes and complete permit applications.
• Review signed agreements prepared for client approval.
• Manages assigned parcels independently and negotiates within defined authority.
• Escalates complex issues appropriately.
