Job summary

The BAM Companies LLC seeks a Portfolio Maintenance Specialist to support a multi-family portfolio. You will travel across Indiana, Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas, and Pennsylvania, solving complex maintenance challenges with deep HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural expertise.

You’ll mentor on-site teams and uphold BAM’s safety standards. Ideal candidates hold EPA Type 2 certification, 4–7 years of hands-on experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4–7 years of hands-on multi-family property maintenance experience.
• Type 2 or Universal EPA Certification required.
• CPO (Certified Pool Operator) preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for complex maintenance issues.
• Travel to properties to provide hands-on support during peak workloads.
• Perform high-level repairs and preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and more.
• Mentor on-site staff with guidance and practical training.
• Conduct roving inspections to ensure quality and safety.
• Assist with preventive schedules and capital projects.
• Document progress and coordinate with Regional Maintenance Coordinator.
• Represent BAM culture and maintain a positive team environment.
