The BAM Companies is seeking a Portfolio Maintenance Specialist to join our roving team across Indiana and neighboring states. You will diagnose and solve complex maintenance issues, travel to properties for peak workloads, and ensure repairs meet BAM quality standards.

Ideal candidates have 4–7 years of hands-on multi-family maintenance experience, EPA Type 2 certification, and the ability to work independently while mentoring site staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 4-7 years of hands-on multi-family property maintenance experience.
• EPA Type 2 Certification required.
• CPO (Certified Pool Operator) preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle for regional travel.

Responsabilités

• Serve as primary contact for complex, high-difficulty maintenance issues across properties.
• Travel to portfolio sites to provide hands-on assistance during peak workloads or emergencies.
• Perform high-level repairs and preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural elements.
• Mentor on-site maintenance staff and share best practices.
• Conduct roving inspections to ensure BAM quality and safety standards.
• Assist with portfolio-wide preventive maintenance and capital projects.
• Document progress and coordinate with the Regional Maintenance Coordinator.
