Job summary
RED Hospitality & Leisure (Experience RED) seeks an experienced Mobile Marine Technician to support a multi-destination fleet. This roving role covers deployment across St. Thomas USVI, St.
John USVI, Turks & Caicos, and Key West, with a structured 10-on / 5-off cycle. Travel, accommodations, and per diem are provided during deployments. You will diagnose and repair diesel inboards and gasoline outboards, perform preventive maintenance, and manage on-site electrical and hydraulic systems while
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years hands-on mar ine technician or diesel mechanic experience.
- Proficient with inboard diesel systems (Yanmar, Volvo Penta, Cummins).
- Proficient with outboard engines (Yamaha, Mercury, Honda, Suzuki).
- Strong knowledge of 12V/24V marine electrical systems.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to work across remote locations.
- US work authorization (USCIS) and passport validity as required.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair inboard diesel engines across fleet types.
- Diagnose and repair outboard gasoline engines (Yamaha, Mercury, Honda, Suzuki).
- Perform preventive maintenance, fluid services, impeller replacements, and zincs.
- Troubleshoot marine electrical systems, bilge systems, and instrumentation.
- Coordinate parts procurement and inventory; update fleet status logs.
