Job Description

Tesoro Group is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join one of our long-term clients' team at (3) properties in Richfield. The ideal candidate will have general maintenance knowledge, be self-motivated, organized, and self-sufficient. This role is contract to hire (90 days before conversion).

This role involves working with (3) buildings containing 225+ units – affordable/income restricted.

Salary: $26-$30/hour while on contract (90 days before conversion).

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am – 4:30pm.

On-call requirements: none during or after the contract period.

Responsibilities and Job Duties:

• Perform skilled building maintenance including repairs to sinks, windows, floors, and other areas.
• Maintain grounds as assigned, including trash pick-up, shoveling, sweeping curb/dumpster areas, and maintaining landscape beds.
• Prepare vacant units for occupancy, which may include cleaning responsibilities.
• Install and repair major and minor appliances (e.g., washer, dryer, refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher).
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues, diagnose problems, replace/repair parts, test, and make adjustments.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

• At least 2 years' experience in residential maintenance, including work orders and preventative maintenance.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Report.
• Ability to pass a background check conducted by Kari Koskinen.
