Job summary

Bigos Management, Inc. is seeking a Roving Maintenance Technician to support multiple properties across the Twin Cities Metro area. You’ll perform installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance to ensure facilities meet standards and laws.

Work with the Property Manager and Zone Building Engineer to ready vacated apartments, complete work orders quickly, and handle common repairs. Requires certifications and ability to travel between sites within the metro area.

Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years as Maintenance Technician in a residential apartment setting.
AA degree or certification in mechanical, HVAC, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred.
Requires Certified Pool Operator, Special Boiler's License, and Type II EPA Refrigerant Certification within 6 months of hire.
Reliable transportation, valid state driver's license and proof of insurance; travel between sites required.

Responsibilities

Travel to multiple sites within Bigos' portfolio to back up Maintenance Technicians.
Rotate on-call support and respond to emergencies within 30 minutes.
Monitor and repair building systems (HVAC, Plumbing, Boilers) as needed.
Assist Property Manager with unit inspections and preventive maintenance.
Provide training for site Maintenance Technicians and coordinate with Zone Building Engineer.
Communicate with engineers and vendors on major repairs and projects.
