Job summary

Ashwa? Ashtead Technology in Houston is seeking a hands-on ROV tooling technician to inspect, test, repair, and prepare equipment for offshore deployment. You’ll commission tooling systems and ensure readiness through functional testing, packaging, and accurate documentation.

You will diagnose faults, support customers, and assist in mobilisations and offshore activities while maintaining strict HSEQ standards and quality control.

Qualifications

• Experience as a technician repairing and testing ROV tooling.
• Knowledge of torque tools, valve packs, cutters, LAOTs, and IHPUs.
• Qualification in a mechanical or related technical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, repair, and prepare ROV tooling for deployment.
• Commission and test new tooling systems for readiness.
• Prepare equipment for mobilisation and packaging.
• Maintain work orders, invoices, and documentation in NetSuite.
• Support design, development, and testing procedures for tooling.
• Diagnose faults and provide technical customer support.
• Assist mobilisations, site testing, and offshore activities.
• Manage spare parts, stock, and housekeeping to meet HSEQ standards.
